About Us
Commercial Transport Solutions formerly Commercial Transport Spares, started in the early 70’s in a Sydenham, Christchurch warehouse building heavy trailers. Initial challenges to source parts locally led the company to start stocking its own parts. Natural progression led to CTS entering the parts trade and in 1987 the decision was made to concentrate solely on the parts business. The CTS product range grew to reflect the increasing diversity of heavy trucks, trailers and buses on New Zealand roads with a comprehensive range that would become one of CTS’s main strengths.
Growth over the ensuing years necessitated a move to larger premises at 129 Waterloo Road, Hornby where the company is now based, with branches in both Auckland and Dunedin to better serve customers in these regions. Since mid-2018, CTS was acquired by the Wiehl, Germany-based BPW Group, as a fully owned subsidiary. We are now a part of the global BPW Aftermarket Group.
